Puyallup River Drowning Sumner WA (Alderton)

July 17, 2010. Sumner , WA A 33 year old woman drowned in the Puyallup river Saturday night after slipping on rocks and falling into the river while trying to retrieve beers that had fallen in. Friends reported her missing shortly after 9 pm Her body was found about 2 miles downstream in the 7500 block of Riverside Drive.
